Vintage ‘Tempus Fugit’ Grandmother Clock from C.1980’s. Made in Western Germany. This Grandmother Clock features a Mahogany finish with one Glass Door. The dial features gold & silver coloured chapter ring with Roman numerals and spectacular corner embellishments. The moon dial, like many other clocks, for example ’Ridgeways’, features a globe and sash across it with ‘Tempus Fugit’, which stands for ‘Time Flies’ in Latin. Grandmother Clock comes on Elegant Queen Anne Style Cabriole Legs and comes with original key.
PLEASE NOTE
There is a crack in the top of the wooden door frame (see pic)
The clock mechanism works perfectly but the chimes need some adjustment.
