Since 1979, Te Omanga Hospice has provided quality Palliative Care services for those living with a terminal or life limiting illness in the Hutt Valley community. The hospice has been developed and shaped over the course of its existence by the generosity of individuals, families and businesses alike.

Te Omanga Hospice helps people live well and with dignity and compassion at the end of life. Our support is provided through an interdisciplinary team of specialist doctors, nurses, therapists, educators and specially trained volunteers.

While our services are free for patients, and their families and whānau, living with a terminal or life limiting illness in the Hutt Valley, it does cost us to provide them.

The sale of quality preloved items through our Online Shop and Te Omanga Hospice Shops provide an important source of funding for our hospice service, helping support more than 500 patients in our community each year.
